How It Works: Our 4-Step Process

Step 1: The Submission
Fill out our valuation form with a few details about your collection and upload some clear photos. We don’t expect you to be an expert grader; just a general overview (e.g., "A binder of mixed vintage Pokémon") and close-ups of 5–10 of the best cards is perfect. The more clear information you provide, the faster we can review it.

Step 2: Valuation & Initial Offer
Once we receive your submission, we will carefully review the photos, cross-reference current UK market values, and assess the general condition. We will then contact you (usually via email within 48 hours) with an initial, competitive price range or offer. If the valuation is complex or high-value, we may request a follow-up video call to inspect specific cards in real-time.

Step 3: Finalizing the Deal & Handover
If you are happy with the initial offer, we finalize the details.

  • POSTAGE (UK-wide): We arrange the handover method based on the collection's size and value. For most collections, we will generate and email you a fully tracked and insured shipping label (at our expense). You securely package the collection, attach the label, and drop it at a local post office.
  • IN-PERSON (High-Value): For very large or high-value collections, we can arrange an in-person meeting within the Lancashire area, or at a UK card show we are attending.

Step 4: Inspection & Instant Payment
Once the collection arrives safely at TCG Collects, we perform a final physical inspection to verify condition and authenticity. If everything matches the initial description, we finalize the exact price.

  • Payment: We use instant Bank Transfer for fast, secure payments with a clear digital paper trail. For in-person handovers, cash payment is also an option.

Our Guarantee: We want this to be the easiest transaction you ever make. There is never any obligation to accept our offer. If we arrive at a final price and you are not happy, or if we find condition issues upon inspection, we are happy to securely post your collection back to you, free of charge.
